This is the best chocolate whipped cream for kids because it is refined sugar free. It even contains some health benefits thanks to raw honey as the sweetener. This is also a super easy chocolate whipped cream recipe that you will return to again and again to pair with a multitude of treats.
Place your stand mixer bowl and whisk attachment in the fridge to chill for at least ten minutes before mixing.
Weigh out honey, vanilla extract and cocoa powder into a small bowl before you remove the cream, mixer bowl and whisk attachment from the fridge.
Add heavy whipping cream to chilled mixer bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients to the mixer bowl.
Begin mixing on low, gradually increasing the speed to avoid splashing. Stop to scrap down the sides and bottom of the bowl after one minute.
Continue mixing on high for another 4 minutes, stopping to scrape down sides and bottom every minute. Chocolate whipped cream will be fluffy and have a sturdy body to it when it is done.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.
Notes
The bowl and whisk do not absolutely have to be chilled for this recipe. The whipped cream will still turn out if you do not chill your bowl and whisk attachment. Chilling it just helps the cream to stay cold while it is being mixed.
